I saw this big chicken at shoprite & said it was for me. :D :D
Just a little oil, salt, pepper, garlic & chicken spices.
Cooked in a convection oven at 475 for 45 minutes & at 375 for the rest of the time until it was done at 362.....I let it rest & it was great at 366 degrees. The beets (canned) are not in the picture but the homemade agave cranberry sauce is.
Chicken was crispy on the outside & juicy on the inside.
Thanks Go jets & Arizona Cardinals

I think for a 1/4 of that most excellent bird, I can oversee this oversight ;) ;)

The most amazing part is that I got the pictures up on this site...I have no idea on how I did it... >:( I must call Dee for instructions....it took me longer then to cook the chicken ???

Nice looking bird.

I, for one, don't care WHERE or HOW you cook it - it looks great. Can you tell us about the cranberry sauce? I love cranberry sauce and always look for new ideas. Thank you for sharing!

Looks great!
Just throw some wood chips in the broiler compartment next time and it's all good :P

Shoot you???
No - but I might threaten you with my fork for a piece of that bird!!! :D
We really do not care how you cook something. Indoors or out. And - we don't have any rules against indoor cooking. If it tastes good - and you can share what worked for you - tell us! If it works - ( or not...) we hope everyone will share those results with us. Your looks great!

Wendy will do a whole chicken in our electric oven. She uses Lawreys Seasoning Salt...cranks the oven up to 450 and in one hour we got crispy skin.....moist meat and the house smells good........... 8) 8)

If you put wood chips in your broiler remember to take the batteries out of your smoke detector ::)
