Ya, I'm a Yankee but I love sausage gravy...

Buttermilk biscuits, poached eggs and sausage gravy...

How can you go wrong? (Just don't tell your cardiologist!)

An absolutely winning breakfast appetizer!  Now, bring on the bacon, waffles, pancakes, omelettes, hash browns, sliced home grown tomatoes, ham, donuts, steak, bagels, sliced fruit . . . . . . . . .

Oh dear  ???  I get carried away occasionally by the breakfast muse.

Great breakfast. Love the poached eggs. I make them a lot..afraid to tell the gathering boys..or I will be making them too.  LOL. Them boys do like their breakfasts, specially Terry and Tommy. gotta feed them boys. You should have seen how quiet they got while eating.  LOL..it was so cute. I do the toad in the hole thing a lot too. Almost the same as poached.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ

I'm with Tommy. Gravy & biscuits is plenty, unless you have some country ham and biscuits... and bacon... and pancakes... and... and...

Breakfast is pretty universal regardless of location. Just don't frouf it up too much!

That's a great looking breakfast! But it's a shame the lawn mower passed so close to your table. Got clippings all over your food!
