Post by: HighOnSmoke on March 14, 2014, 07:52:09 PM
Flappers were seasoned with Chicken Savor. Put on the Performer using KBB, Lump and a couple of apple chunks. Flappers are done! I found some Ore-Ida Texas Crispers (https://www.oreida.com/Products/T/Texas-Crispers) at the store today and decided to try them. I repositioned the charcoal baskets and put them on indirect. I seasoned them with Montreal Steak. Direct to crisp up some. Shrimpies were seasoned with Old Bay and put on the grill. Here they are done! Definitely a nice and tasty Friday night comfort food dinner. I really like the Chicken Savor. It is a toss-up which I like best, Mo-Rockin or this one.

Great looking food, did you thaw the taters first and how long did they take?
Thanks Saber! Nope, just took them out of the bag, seasoned them and put them on the grill. The instructions said 425 in the oven for 20 minutes. I had them at about 400 and it took about 15 minutes on the grill.
