First cook on the SRG
« Reply #-1 on: October 29, 2014, 12:58:43 PM »
OK so I know I've had it a few weeks now, but I couldn't find the time to get the pictures all setup so I waited until I could post them too.

It finally arrived!

Got home late from work and then the time to put it all together so I grabbed some New York strips I had, hit them with a little Montreal and Garlic Powder.

Straight off the grill, love how the sear marks ...

An just a couple of taters from the microwave...  It was already 10pm and I just wanted to eat :)

Enjoy   ;)

Still haven't tried that yet...  Rub them down with a little EVOO and then some sea salt?

Yup that will work, no tin foil. I bring mine to 210 F internal temp

Excellent, excellent job!!  It is a fantastic cooker.  I'm thinking about repainting mine as it's starting to show "some" age after six years or so. Dee
