Steak & Shrimp Fajitas in the MAK Griddle
« Reply #-1 on: May 11, 2016, 07:28:27 PM »
I love the MAK Griddle!

For Mothers Day my wife decided she wanted Steak & Shrimp Fajitas.   If that's what she wants for her special day, then that's what she gets!

While my son got the MAk setup and pre-heated, I got the food ready. A couple of Top Sirloins were seasoned with a combo of:  BPS Jallelujah (JalapeƱo Seasoned Salt) and  Ancho Chili Powder (with cumin in it). Right before throwing them onto the pre-heatyed they got a splash of lime juice.

The steaks were flipped half way through cooking, and the veggies were tossed into the MAK Griddle with some of the same seasoning.
The Veggies: Green bell peppers, Onions, Broccoli & Tomatoes.

Looking and smelling good...

When the steaks were taken off to rest, some foil-wrapped tortillas were put on to warm up and some pre-cooked shrimp added to the veggies just to warm through.

All done and Steaks sliced...

Plated with some homemade Macaroni Salad and Avocados.

The wife was happy and THAT'S what counts!  ;)

I like that you used  top sirloins instead of the normal skirt steak.
That had to kick it up.
