Some good looking gumbo! I could turn the ac on high and pretend it's fall - then have big bowl of that!

It's odd. We are in the so-called "Dog Days" of Summer here in Illinois, temps usually are in the 90's with humidity and nooo wind. But for about last ten days it's been like an early Fall, 70's daytime temps and in low 50's at night. So the gumbo sounded good.
