Stuffed wings
« Reply #-1 on: November 22, 2013, 10:42:28 PM »
Sautéed some onion and bell peppers and mixed with Some smoked cheese and bacon.  Taking the bones out wasn't as bad as I thought. Turned out pretty good.

And for dinner my first shepherds pie. Very good

the wings look great.  love the color on them.  I more interested in the sheppards pie.  it looks like it has my name on a piece of it.  it needs some milk to go w/ it.  I want some of that.

Those wings look really good!

That is a great idea. So many different options for stuffing.

The wings look great!  Love that idea.  Tee and I have been talking about a relatively short road trip to Columbia, SC to try the stuffed wings off a food truck.  I saw a 2011 story about them on the Food Channel a while back.  Each wing was a meal unto itself!  The three stuffed wings they showed included a mac and cheese stuffing, a cheese and jalapeno stuffing and a jambalaya stuffing.  Their wings were at least twice the normal size.  They also battered and deep fried them (it is the South).

I love Shepherd's pie.  My wife doesn't care for the mashed potato part.  I order it whenever I see it on a menu, like an Irish Pub menu.

Used Elton browns recipe.  Turned out pretty good.  I would modify and add some cheese to the taters.  I judy added thyme and rosemary instead of measuring so maybe a tad less.  When I go to holland for work there is an English pub that has an amazing ahepards pie.  They have some cheese.  Oh man that is good.
