    2 teaspoons pure chile powder
    2 teaspoons dried oregano
    1 teaspoon granulated garlic
    1 teaspoon ground cumin

this is for a 4 lb butt but can easily be doubled

Can you get your hands on a bottle of Goya Mojo Criollo marinade?

Yes I can get the Goya locally.... Looking at the seasoning, looks like I could use my Grande Southwest.  Very close to that.  Many thanks......

I'd marinate/inject with the Goya, then lay your rub on thick.

If you make your own marinade..use some grapefruit for the acid..or blood oranges. or both..the adobo works real well and oregano and of course gahhlick. Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
