Thanks to tsquare
« Reply #-1 on: March 09, 2014, 08:03:37 PM »
I just want to give a BIG thanks to T Square! He blended up a steak rub for us to try at a competition this weekend. I don't know what all is in it, but it did get us 2nd out of 39 teams. Way to go, T!!!!
Also, another BIG thanks to Brad at GrillGrate for being a sponsor. What a GRATE product!
Our team is doing a "test" this year by having two cookers. This part of our team is sponsored by Owens bbq and that good ol Tatonka Dust.
Anyway, Yall give these products a try. It IS a winning combination. And thanks again, Tsquare for the help in getting us on stage!

I'm thinking the same thing.  I'm looking for a new steak, brisket, hamburger rub.  beef, it's what's for dinner.   ;) let me know when I can buy the big bottle of it.  I'm also running low on my bbq savior.  If you ppl want most excellent ribs get this rub.  it makes a great 1st and 3rd layer (I like it on pork butt too).  it's a find grind so it gets in all the nooks and crannies.  I've tried over 100 different rubs on ribs.  bbq savior is the base of all my ribs cooks from here on out (sorry, long winded.  day off and 2 espresso's and little maconado on the back patio w/ the dogs).   ;D

Well....At the risk of disappointing you guys:

We make rubs for a number of competitors as "private label" deals. And some are exclusive formulas. ( It may surprise you who we make rubs for that you may have seen on TV ;) ) This one is a rub we developed for Antonio's steak cooking teams an exclusive. It is up to him if he wants to sell this product.

We will be making some steak rubs that are different - like everything else we do ;D.... hang in there guys.

Lastly - I need to apologize for this vein a "commercial interest " post int eh discussion forums. SO - in keeping wight eh hHouse Rules, and out of respect for the other vendors - this thread will be moved into the Savor Spices Site Sponsor Section.

Thanks!
