when you get invited to go to parties do ppl always ask you to bring the same thing?  when ppl invite me it's always bring da ribs.  I can cook tri's, chicken, chuckies, pulled pork and abts (love abts).  nope,  bring da ribs.  fine.  mak to the rescue.  I love my mak 1 star.  it's a work of art.  a pure smoking machine.  and it's so easy to use.  I almost feel guilty.     nah.

20 - 25 knot winds, rain and 38°.  it's not pretty out here.  does my mak care?  nope.  it's made in Oregon.  it rains a lot up there.  I lived in Aloha for 4 years. 













wife says I have to eat something and not drink for a little portion of the day.  fine!  I'm still the boss though.

Great looking ribs.  There is a reason you are asked to bring them.  I am typically asked to bring brisket, but if I am fronting the cost and the prices are out of control I will "suggest" that I bring pulled pork (I can also hold it longer and get some sleep after it is finished).  Normally I will break down and do brisket though.  I'm still trying to talk myself into the fact that I need to do brisket for a large potluck at the beginning of May.  I have a 21 pounder in my freezer that I will be cooking.

no my friend.  I've been loving the big boy ribs.  no foil was involved in any of these cooks.  I'm liking the new way I cook ribs.  the flavor profile comes out a lot when you don't use FL.
