Title: My Kind of Prescription

After suffering with a painful trigger finger issue on the middle finger of my right hand I went to the doctor this afternoon for an injection. Not my favorite injection as this is a painful one. I got the injection and he suggested I put ice compresses on it but I asked if holding a cold beer would suffice, he said yes and wrote out a prescription for me. I like it but I think it should read 1 six times per hour for pain.

I obviously need a new doctor. Mine gave me cortisone and (eventually) surgery for both instances (ring finger on both hands). All good now but the beer would have been a much more pleasant option.

Yea my kind of Doctor!!! When I first went for high blood pressure and came home with 2 prescriptions my wife said did you tell her you drank beer? I said no she didn't ask! Don
