I'm looking for a great baked bean recipe to go with my smoked brisket (tommorow will be my first brisket I have ever smoked).
I stumbled across slawsagirl baked bean recipe that looked good. Has any buddy tried it?

Look up Rick Salmon's BBQ Pit Beans

Now that looks like a great recipe! Have you made it?
But unfortunately I don't have the pulled pork or brisket to make that one at the moment.

I make this recipe all the time and it is the best I have ever had. I usually cook something over them if possible as I think it adds some additional flavor.

This is a brisket cooking over the beans with the drippings going into the beans for some additional flavor. I also do them under ribs, pork butt, chuck roasts.
Save some pulled pork or chopped brisket or pulled beef so you can give them a try as I am sure you will like them.

I've made these many times and always had great results. My sister in-law absolutely loves them (mostly because of the bacon).

Here is one of the easiest bean recipes out there. I prefer them on the smoker but Kimmie likes them in the oven.
For a large aluminum pan your gonna need
1 can 117 oz and a can 55 oz of Bushes Beans.
12 oz of brown sugar
(1) 28 oz bottle of Hunt's ketchup
Thick cut bacon
cups of strong coffee
Mix beans, most of the ketchup (about 21 oz's) the brown sugar and coffee. Once it's all mixed up lay the bacon on top cook for around 3 to 3 1/2 hrs at 350 uncovered or till the bacon is done yet the beans are dry.
Cover them when cooked til serving time

I made this recipe at the GA cookout a few years back and everyone seemed to like them

A favorite here is this recipe from Amazing Ribs

Put them on under a pork butt towards the end of the cook, turned out great. I think a brisket would be even better. :P :P

So my baked bean recipe is pretty easy and everywhere I take it, it's a hit. I used to hate baked beans when I was younger, but I can eat these as a whole meal! Give it a try:
In a 13 x 9 in glass baking dish, combine the below ingredients, mix well and bake at 375 covered for 60 min and then 10 add'l minutes uncovered. Easy as beans!
1 can of garbanzo beans/chickpeas (drained, rinsed)
1 can of black beans (drained, rinsed)
1 can of red kidney beans (drained, rinsed)
1 can of pinto beans (drained, rinsed)
1 can of pork & beans (with sauce)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup of ketchup (you can do 3/4 ketchup & 1/4 bbq sauce)
12 slices of bacon (cooked and crumbled)
1 cup of onion (flash cooked in bacon grease)
That's it....could be easier and the texture of the different beans is "slawesome."
