Title: Hello from sunny Southwest Florida
Post by: Hub0000 on January 26, 2017, 07:05:03 PM: My name is Bob. I really enjoy cooking outdoors. I started getting into smoking with my gas grill and a coffee can and then moved on to a Masterbuilt electric smoker(the kind that looks like a little fridge). My thinking at the time was that the easier and more convenient it was to use the more I would use it. I'm pretty sure I was right on that one and now that I'm ready to move on and keeping with those same thoughts I've pretty much decided to go pellet grill/smoker. That is what led me here and I'm happy to be here.
Didn't mean to make my introduction so long winded.

I've been looking for a while but always thought they were just more than I wanted to spend. I prefer a lighter smoke flavor which is generally what I got with my electric smoker. One of my favorites was when I cured and smoked some very good homemade Canadian bacon. I love the convenience of my Masterbuilt and use it often but I'm ready to move on from its limitations.
As far as the name Hub goes it is a nickname I've had since I was young. I've found that I can't always use it for usernames because sometimes it's being used. I switched a while ago to Hub0000. It's easier to keep straight
