With the help of my beautiful Kimmie I placed two butts on for pulled pork!

it would make 138 but half the cook was in the Rec Tec then finished in the SRG so won't count these ;)

broke into 1 lb bags and froze. This way I can pull without waist

Thanks Tom, but short lived I'm afraid.  Dr found a cyst in my knee muscle and I have to have surgery soon  :(.

Sorry to hear about another surgery in your immediate future, but, the good news is, it sounds like they're going to be able to put you back together again. Best of Luck, I'll be thinking about 'ya. Quick question; did you pull (shred) the pork butt before freeing it in 1lb pkgs, or did you freeze it in large chunks, to be pulled later??

Shred it and then froze
