Cool vid! Is there any truth to the rumor I heard about you getting a kettle?

Got one! 22" Copper Goddess, but it's in Florida plan on outfitting it with your slow and sear next time I'm down, problem is I'm sure when that'll be :)

Nice video. Recently bought some Savor Spices. The Fine Swine & Bovine is excellent.
My Foodsaver pulls such a vacuum that it will pull all the juice out of raw hamburger so I put the patties in the freezer for about 15 minutes before packaging.

Wow! That hasn't happened yet with mine. It pulls a little but not that bad.

Very nice Tom!

Mine is an older model than yours. With mine you lift the lid and insert the vac bag into a vacuum channel.
It draws the bag very tight around what is in it. Think I would prefer yours. :)

Good informative video, Tom!
I keep thinking I'd like to get a newer Weston vac sealer, but the Black & Decker vac sealer we've had, for I don't know how many years, still works fine.
