Nice mod and video Tom. I did the same with my kettle awhile back. Here is the link to the ones I used. I am not sure if they are the same, but they look like they are.

They say not available now, but this is only 1 size they have several from this company.

The larger ones work well in the kettle and WSM IF you are using a Maverick or similar thermometer. The Smoke probes are too large to work with those.

Tom:  This looks like a good idea, as I do not like to run the cables between the lid and kettle.  Is there going to be any problem with heat on the o-ring or that inner adjustable liner?

Thanks for Watching! Others I know have used this and they say no, I'm gonna try it tomorrow and we'll all find out
