Title: Kettle Pizza Acc
Post by: tlg4942 on January 18, 2018, 02:13:17 PM
Our WalMart has a Weber Pizza oven kit on clearance $40.00 for the kettle grill.   Does anybody have one of these and is it a worthwhile purchase?

Yes, I think I will go by after while. If its still there I'll get it.   It's reg price is $169 so 40 is a pretty good deal. Comes with a stone and a SS peel as well.
I'll have to get a good "easy" pizza dough recipe and see what I can do...
I think I'm going to need to buy a couple more kettles for all these accessories!

Terry,
Try Brad's pizza dough recipe from Augusta.  It is killer in the Uuni.  It should be equally as good anywhere.

Pizza Dough by Brad Czajka

Recipe By: Brad Czajka (bczajka on LTBBQ)
Recipe courtesy Bobby Flay

Serving Size: 6
Yield: 6 small pizzas

Ingredients:

4 cups bread flour
1 pack dried yeast
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
2 teaspoons honey
1 teaspoon EVOO
1 1/2 cups water, 107degrees F

Directions:

1. Add the yeast to the water and let bloom for 7 minutes.

2. Add in the salt and honey, let sit for 3 minutes.

3. Add EVOO and then add into the mixer (with a dough hook) into the bread flour and let it go until it’s all together and not sticking to the sides.

4. Cut this recipe into 6 balls and let rise.

5. Each ball is enough to make a thin crust pizza for the Uuni 2.

It was still there so I got it. It's not a Weber product it's a Kettlepizza for Weber Kettles. It's seems to to built pretty well ANd it's made in the USA! How nice.
