Used a marinade I stumbled upon at the little Mexican market behind where I work and said "What the Heck"

Don't look like they were marinated........

Cookin and lookin good.............wind kicked up..not a good combo for chicken and charcoal but I got through it........

Mellow flavor.....might add some orange and onion and cilantro to the marinade next time......

Never seen the "Chef Morito" but we use the Goya version now and then. Good stuff when
we're too lazy to start from scratch we don't have all the ingredients (like sour oranges) and easy to adjust to taste.

Looks great Smoke...
I am with the Turtle on this one Goya is the go to brand around here....And - they even have a sour orange variation...I still like to add a lot of ornge zest to mine ;).

I have driven past the Chef Merito corporate office for years here in Van Nuys. Pretty popular brand with the latino folks around here. They have an Al Pastor marinade I wanna get ordered for a pork butt cook coming up.
Will look for the Goya brand next time I am at Wal-Mart............

Looks good, the last Mojo type I used was not all that great may have to look up Goya and give it another try

Goya seems to be more "Latino-Caribe". You will see it commonly used in Cuban and Puerto-Rican cooking.....

Would be nice not to start from scratch Mojo.
