Title: PBC chicken to the rescue

went fishing again today.  had 2 strikes but no fish.  wife said i might have caught them if i would put the flask down.  no, thats not true.  they were kamakasi fish.  strike and attack before the old guy get to his pole.  so, its chicken tonight.

Great looking plate of food there!

No worries on the fish though....they're not going anywhere.  ;)

Chicken looks great! I noticed that your hooks are in the same way I did my 1/2 chickens few weeks ago. I think on the
PBC videos, Noah hangs the wing tip over hook. I wonder if it makes a difference in how it hangs.

Hooking under the wing is the strongest point from what I have been told after my chickens fell into the coal bed  :-\

I haven't used the Poultry Rub from Miners on chicken in the PBC,but I sure will now!! Great cook Sparky!!

oh, i didn't tell ya.  the fishing flask is now in the backyard for this cook.  its 25° out here and i was just hoping not to run the hook threw my palm.  i will remember the wing thing next time.   ::)

Another good looking cook, and I liked the trout cook as well.  Have fun.
