He is in ICU right now & the next 48 hours are so critical. On top of this he is in a hospital in NY state as the one in CT could not handle his case.

Thanks so much everyone. He is stable now & if his brain does not swell in the next 24 hours they may move him out of ICU. Because of the virus in NY we can't go see him & must get info over the phone. Thanks again for your prayers. God Bless you all Richard

He is stable now but not out of the woods yet & he can have no visits even from our family. Things are still very bad up here with someone we know having a baby girl two days ago...but both parents testing positive for the virus. We also have my wife's stepfather being tested for the virus as he was put on morphine as he had trouble taking a breath.....again no visits. Thanks for your prayers folks & please stay safe.

Bad news......My brother is in rehab he can't move his left leg & arm or eat by himself. My wife's stepfather is fighting for his life his temp is 105. We got him on the cocktail yesterday but today he can't swallow. We can only hope that he got enough of the cocktail in him in a day & a half to keep him going. reports say that the temp can spike before people feel better. slim chance but that is what we are praying for. Thanks for all your prayers.....This Virus is so bad. My wife's mom has the virus in her place & as far as we know it has not spread from one worker. The new parents are doing OK as both have tested positive for the virus but are younger. Stay well my friends!!!!!!

Thanks for all your prayers please keep them coming. My brother just found out he tested positive for the virus. He got it from his rehab roommate That's all we know at this time as we can not see him & his wife gets a few moments with a doctor each day.

My Brother has not been tested again so we are not sure if he is virus free as of today. Four weeks in, his mind is there one day & gone the next. His left side has not come back at all yet & they have moved him to another rehab place where we still cannot visit him...… Thanks for all your prayers.
We have not had a service yet for Barbara's stepfather that passed from Covid a few weeks back. Still cannot visit his wife as she lives alone in assisted living.
Barbara has not found out on her job as the company is not updating anyone as of today. Five weeks now!
Then things went from bad to worse in 15 seconds. Last weekend we were eating homemade pizza & Barbara went to make some fried dough for my son on a pan on our stove. Well she turned her back for a few seconds & the next thing the kids & I saw was her running into our sunroom heading for the door with the pan on fire...…. She slipped & hot oil went on her, the couch, a basket & the pan rolled on the floor spreading the fire. It was a series of fires all over the room.
Well I may not be a good cook, but I believe in safety. I must have 21 fire alarms (both kinds), two heat alarms, 9 C02 alarms & two escape ladders in our house which by the way is not a big house. So, Barbara then ran out of the room as did both the kids. I have a large fire extinguisher in that room within feet of one of the fires. I got that out & put out each of the fires in under 30 seconds. I also have two in the kitchen one in the basement, one in the upstairs, one in the room over the garage one in the living room. The one in the sunroom (4 seasons) is the biggest thank God as it doubles for the outside grills. I have instructed the kids only put out a fire if you have an escape behind you. I had instructed them on what to do in a kitchen fire, but my wife thought she could make it outside.... a big mistake.
Anyway, Barbara has second degree burns on one of her arms & on one of her legs. She did not want to go to the hospital as the virus is all over there, so she is now stuck in bed with the doctors treating her over the phone. It has been some 10 days for all of us. It is slow healing as anyone who has had burns will tell you. Anyway, more prayers would be appreciated as she is in pain & we pray the scars will go away. We feel we were blessed that the burns were only second degree & we did not lose the house & for some reason the dog was not where he normally is when food is around. If he lit on fire & ran through the house we would have been in real trouble.

Richard so sorry to hear about this. I've had burns but not like that and know it's not anything anyone would want to go through.

Thanks so much everyone your prayers & good thoughts mean everything to us. No change except Barbara is feeling more pain in her leg now......The Doctors think this may be a good thing in that it is healing. Looks terrible but We were still lucky. Again, thanks you are all special people.

First I got thank you all again for your prayers...they really helped!!!!! Thanks a Million.
My Brother after a month is Covid free & has some movement in his left leg. So that leaves his left arm that is not working at all as of today. His speech is good but he is still down & losses focus at times. It will be a long road back.
Barbara my bride after 4 weeks of bad burns is getting better & pain free, It looks like there will be no scars left in the future as for now she must keep her leg & arm out of the sun. But she is 90% back.
I can't complain but I got hit with two oral surgeries back to back.......Yes you heard it right. I split a tooth to the gum ....Now don't laugh folks it was on my homemade pizza........It was a soft slice too. The doctor was only seeing people like me & as he is working on it I tell him you know Doc something is not right I still feel pain. I am halfway home & the pain is amazing....so I figure it is the "after pain"........well that night it was as bad as I have ever had......He says come back in when I tell him it is not the same tooth......I was right a wisdom tooth was full of decay ...so out that comes & for the last eight days it has been something.....Just today I stopped taking advil, & two other pain meds......all along I kept saying this in nothing compared to what others are facing....
What I have learned from this as I have been ready for this virus coming for years.......I knew it......but........you can't prepare for everything......life happens even with a virus to deal with. All my emergency planning & supplies helped but you never have enough.
Let me add this if they are right we are only half way home on this virus now for rounds 1.0 & 1-5. They are looking at maybe 200,000 dead by the fall. That is almost double what we have now. We must live our life but don't let your guard down. Then when winter hits round 2 in my book could be even worse.
So the dentist said I want to see you twice in two weeks to three weeks.....I said doc you are going to see me one time for both appointments not two times. He agreed! So the staff gives me a date in the middle of the day & in the middle of the week. I said no thank you & I asked about a Monday morning first appointment so they asked why......I said because you are closed Friday - Sunday & I want any leftover virus dead by then. So we picked a date for 7:30 on a Monday,.....

Lost my mother-in-laws boss today because of covid. Things are getting better now. But it is only as good as the people you know. I hope you are all well
