If I had to give up something for Lent..I could give up candy, chocolate and stuff like that., but I could NOT give up bread or pasta. It just couldn't be done. Got the idea from a guy in Europe, and my wife modified it to work well in our neck of the woods - the key to success is the Dutch oven; had we known that, we'd have saved ourselves years of fruitless work trying to do good bread. Here's the link to his YouTube and what my wife uses for her dough
