Title: For My Birthday!
Post by: LostArrow on March 25, 2012, 03:44:59 PM
A Kamodo cooker has never been an option !
Other than the Vermont Castings gasser the whole family surprised me with on my 50th I've never spent more than $200 on a cooker.
Well in the last two years my middle child got a JOB! And my youngest graduated from college & is actually borrowing money for school now ;)
For the last year we haven't been in deficient spending !
Well the Char-Griller kamodo has intrigued me at $300, I've seen one it looks pretty well built.
I took my wife out to eat Sat. Nite , had a bottle of wine & on the way home parked at Kroger &. Showed her the cooker ( they had several outside) my birthday is in April & I told her I wanted this for my birthday ::)
She said are you ------- CRAZY ! We have 10 grills on the deck now!!?
I'm going to have to talk to Smoke for hints he seems to do better than me :'(

Ya just go out and get it. Just slip it out back amongst your other pits and she (hopefully) wont notice it for a while. I usually will part with a pit in order to "Replace" it.

If I take the New Braunfels off your hands that will free up a spot out back for the Kamodo  8)

Ya might get the hairy eyeball and Shimmy-Sham will be slim to none for a week or so but ya got your next grill.

seriously, just go out and get it....and don't forget to get her some smell goods!!

Sometimes it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to get permission.  Either way, there may be consequences.  Good luck.
