Title: Kaufhaus Pork Loin
Post by: Merrick Bill on April 16, 2012, 09:54:10 PM
I tried a recipe from Rick Browne's book, "The Best Barbecue On Earth."  It's called Kaufhaus Pork Loin in Beer.  Among other things the recipe calls for German beer and Jagermeister.  Two of my favorite things.  I used Spaten Oktoberfest beer.  I first saw him make it on his show Barbecue America and couldn't wait to try it.

It's sitting on a bed of grilled Granny Smith apples.

I smoked it with oak on a Weber kettle for about an hour.  To save time, I grilled the apples on my Weber Q grill.  I washed it down with an Oktoberfest bier or two.  I definitely recommend this recipe.
