Title: Kale chips
Post by: spuds on June 19, 2014, 05:55:57 PM: 6 kale leaves,washed and dried,about 5 ounces.Tiny spray olive oil.Sprinkle sea salt,into 200 F oven about 20-30 minutes until crunchy but not burned.

45 calories for a big cookie tray worth,9 calories an oz.. LOADED with nutrition.As good as potato chips though a slightly different taste,I like better than P Chips.

GOOD POINTS

No cholesterol
Very high in calcium
Very high in dietary fiber
High in iron
Very high in manganese
High in magnesium
Very high in potassium
High in riboflavin
Very high in thiamin
Very high in vitamin A

They are mighty good.If you take the Hippie mother earth moon beam connotation off of em,they are just a really yummy chip. :P Maybe not a replacement but might be an addition. :D

Post by: Saber 4 on August 26, 2014, 12:04:58 AM: Thanks for posting, I've been wanting to try something like this for sometime now, tried some in the deep fryer like we saw on TV but their commercial fryer and vent system must work better than my little fry daddy. They tasted good but boy do they sizzle and pop when you drop them in the hot oil.
