Night cook on the PK Grill
« Reply #-1 on: December 22, 2014, 11:06:29 PM »
We had to leave the mountain today to go shopping. We try to do as much shopping as possible so we don't have to leave the mountain too many times. We get back late and on the porch is a Omaha Steak package from Wendy's aunt.  Smoke aint turning down a free supper.

Grilled up some Beef Tenderloins, Top Sirloin, and Chicken Breasts. I have always heard of Omaha Steaks but I was not that impressed....oh well, it was a gift  8)

Looks good and I am not sure what the gimmick is with the steaks but they sell them, and they are $$$.
Love to cook and eat

I'm kind of with you on the Omaha steaks.....lot of marketing doesn't leave a lot of $ for a quality product.

They certainly look good ! ! !

Omaha reminds me of Southern Foods.  Waaaaay back at the beginning of my ex-marriage, we did the thing with them.  It was nice because we lived out in the country and it was 30 minutes to grocery store.  I really liked the delmonicos and their flank steaks.  Both were, as I recall, tasty and reasonably priced.
