Chef Boyar-Robin

So today was "try to make pasta day". Also was going to make some with gluten free flour for the wife.
First lesson learned, gluten free flour does not make good pasta dough. The dough was too crumbly.
So I just continued with regular all purpose flour.

Dough mixed up.

Used the kitchen-aid pasta roller attachment to roll out the dough.

Had to use the manual pasta cutter as I don't have the pasta cutter attachment for the KA. The attachment is much easier- have to get one for cutting the pasta.

Hanging to dry.

All done with some sausage, texas toast and some homemade sauce.

I was very pleased with the results. Going to have to do it again sometime.

Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.

Gus..everything I'm reading about the gluten free is saying that stuff is drier. I tried adding coconut oil and it helps but ya gotta be careful with the amount. Looks great tho..love homemade pasta. Your right about the attachments too. They work great. But the dough has to be stiff or it won't cut with the cutters right. I contacted KA and we figured out that was the problem.  I have the pasta sheeters for noodles and lasagnas and your pierogis and the press for spaghetti, bucatini, macaronis, etc. Still playing with them.
Yours look great tho, nothing like homemade pasta. If you don't dry it, it cooks faster. I do both.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Nice job, Gus!!  A plate of fresh pasta would taste mighty good with a nice homemade sauce about now.
