30 minute Babybacks
« Reply #-1 on: January 18, 2015, 10:31:58 AM »
I received my Power cooker pro the other day and made Ribs last night. I used Fine Swine and Bovine Rub. It actually takes about 45 minutes to cook as there is a 15 minute warm up before the 30 minute timer starts counting down. This was the easiest dinner I ever made and cleanup was a breeze. The ribs were really good but not 5 hour over the coals good. I'm thinking a little liquid smoke and butter will go in the next batch.

Have you used your Power cooker much?  I have been looking at them and can't decide what I should do.  Please give us a review according to the Keymaster.  I "need" another toy in my arsenal (like a moose needs a hat rack).

That was the first time I used it Art. It is built better than I had expected. I'm going to do chicken wings in it today and will post a pic.

Heres a Link Pam to qvc and they have a video. http://www.qvc.com/Power-Pressure-Cooker-XL-Plus-6-qt.-Digital-w-Glass-Lid-&-Power-Chopper.product.K41645.html?sc=K41645-Zone&cm_scid=zone&cm_sp=MERCHZONE-_-Featured:+Easy+Pay+Offers-_-1

I purchased mine from the manufacturer and saved 20 percent which paid for the upgrade to pro and free shipping. It took a month to get it.

A little TendaRub would have shaved off 15 minutes Aaron :P

Very interesting! The total opposite of Sous Vide cooking.

Frozen buffalo wings in forty minutes and Mac & Cheese Home made in 7 minutes. Put the wings in the oven to crisp skin while making the Mac & cheese. Good food and easy cooking.
