It was a beautiful sunny day here in Southeast Georgia so decided to grill.
Chimney is almost ready.
I am using the small vortex in the Weber Performer with a chunk of cherry wood.
I spatchcocked 2 game hens and marinated for 6 hours in:
1 cup of Mr. Yoshida’s sauce
1 cup of fresh orange juice
6 tablespoons of honeyI gave them a light seasoning of Chicken Savor and put them indirect on the Weber.
Hens are just about done. I rotated them and brushed on some reserved marinade.
Hens are done!
Plated with some boxed noodles and green beans.
Hens came out moist, tender with nice crispy skin. Very nice teriyaki flavor with a touch of honey.
