I lived in Racine for 10 years, loved coming up to Milwaukee. Enjoyed the Safe House, but the local brew pubs were better. There was one on or near Water Street - can't think of the name but was a great place.
My favorite spice place - The Spice House is there - I order on line these days.
Back then my favorite place to hang out (it's gone now) was English Darts South. They had real darts (steel tip) on one level and plastic / electric darts on another. Many ill spent nights in that place!
Watched the Packers play in the old Miller Field. Many memories.
I look forward to your posts about the "new" Milwaukee.
