New joiner from northern NJ

I'm relatively new to real BBQ cooking compared to many on here. For a long time I stuck with grilling on my Lynx gas grill. I tried smoking a little with it with no success. Then my wife gave me the best Father's Day gift ever, an 18.5" WSM about 3 years ago.

Since then I smoke as much as I can although not as much as I'd like!  This past week my brother and I purchased a PBC for my father, which I'll probably end up using most of the time. I cooked on the PBC several times last week and really liked the results.

I joined LTBBQ to share experiences with fellow BBQers, ask questions, and get tips and new ideas.
