Hello,

My name is Santos Alarcon and for the past 10 years I have been on a quest to learn how to make great tasting BBQ. I started out with my addiction with a simply electric smoker and eventually upgraded to a Weber Smokey Mountain. I recently purchased the Pit Barrel Cooker which has been great also because it cooks so different. I never cease to be amazed at some of the flavors that come off of it. I look forward to learning from all of you!

Santos

Hi Santos,

Just re-read your post. Kind of funny... I started out the other way - with a WSM and now an electric smoker. Two kids came along and my time was busy doing things beyond smoking, so the electric made sense. Some day.... I also have and enjoy the difference of the PBC. Look forward to hearing about and seeing pictures from your cooks.
