New Cooking Area
« Reply #-1 on: January 19, 2016, 07:43:08 PM »
I have been working on this for awhile and yesterday I finally got to a point I could put the gazebo together. We have had a lot of rain days this last couple of months so it really puts you behind schedule. I still have a couple of finishing touches before I call it victory but I am far enough along to share with my BBQ family.

Pic Heavy...

Love to cook and eat

That is cool RAD!

Nice when you can get the gazebo pre-built. Where is the beer tap going to go? And the flat screen tv :P

Looks good and am VERY envious.   Been working on something like that since we moved into this house last August.   Has a covered patio, but it is not all that large.  More space is needed for either people or cooking equipment and cooking.    So far, have gotten nowhere, BUT, my ace in the hole is that my wife is a birder and she wants a water feature put in, SO, I will make sure when we are talking to people about that we insert a discussion of enlarging the patio!   Wish me luck, please

But all the heat reflects off the roof back down on the food cooking. Every meal ends up well done!  ;) ;) ;)

Thanks everyone. This thing is about 400lb, the table top is stone and it is well built. I got it from Lowes for $299, so I think I paid more for the pavers. ;D

As for the TV and beer tap we have been talking about that but I'm not sure how to protect the TV, beer wouldn't last long enough to worry about.  ;)

They make great outdoor TVs now but they cost big $$$$  I do out door movies & sports on a 12 foot screen...lots of fun & costs $$ to get started.
