What is the greatest non-cooking item you have in your outdoor BBQ area
« Reply #-1 on: January 20, 2016, 09:25:45 PM »
For me it is two seats from Busch Stadium II. I live in CT grew up in NY & have never been to saint Louis but I have been the biggest cardinals fan since the 60's

I have the seats so people can sit next to me as I BBQ/cook. I have a Cardinals sign above with a red rope light in the shape of the arch. It is next to the corner of my garage so I also have a bottle opener with in reach of the seats.

My pride & joy.

Noting non-cooking out there except a couple of cheep chairs.  I guess they win by default.

My pride & joy.

My father in law has seats from "The Vet".  The same stadium that had a jail and judge built in the basement.  Nothing to special for me, I built shelving for surround sound and added lighting to make the backyard patio area nicer for hosting guests.

My refrigerator is pretty handy but I think the Counter Top my son made me for my well pump cover has to be the handiest thing. It has become a place for folks to stand and visit as well as a counter top. That really made it special.  He and my daughter built me a second cabinet to match since the picture.

Terry, that is a beautiful piece of granite over that well pump. If I remember right, it is just the right height to stand around and visit. I talked to Chris about y'all coming to Houston with a piece of granite just like that.

My greatest non-cooking item has to be my porch swing!  Nothing finer than to sit in it, sip a cold adult beverage and smell the aroma generated by one of my grills!  ;D
