We Wanted Something EASY To Make And EASY To Re-Heat For Football The Next Day
« Reply #-1 on: January 26, 2016, 01:06:00 AM »
So last Saturday, started with Johnsonville Italian sweet sausage, and gave them a nice easy bacon wrap.

I found these cute little mini-Yukon gold potatoes last shopping trip. They got an easy bacon wrap as well.

Most of my working years were spent on the night shift, or just 24/7. Cooking at night on the PBC is no different
than cooking on it during the day. Put your food on and come back when it's done.
Some of that smoke is from the two pieces of sugar maple-wood I easily placed on the lump charcoal.

Since I didn't grill any vegetables, inside the house the misses grilled up some
green, yellow, and red bell peppers in olive oil with some parsley, fresh ground kosher salt, and fresh ground  pepper.
That was super easy too, as I didn't even have to make them.

It was the wife’s idea to have a glass of wine with the food. She's always so thoughtful. The Mateus we.as a good choice.
And it went down, along with the food, you guessed it .. very easy.

  • To blessed to be distressed!
Here's a tip I learned from a buddy. Use pieces of uncooked spaghetti noodles instead of toothpicks. They remain rigid long enough for the bacon to take a set, then cook away. No toothpicks to pull out, just pop the goodies into your piehole!
