I like Dave's recipe too! And sometimes I will use a " traditional blend " of flavors from my family history:
1-1/2 tsp to 1 Tlbl Sea Salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Savory
1/2 - 1 tsp Rosemary
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/8 tsp yellow curry
You can vary the amounts to your particular tastes of course. And - you can grind a small amount to powder - add to liquified butter, and inject into the turkey breasts as well.
We usually stuff the turkey with citrus fruit. preferably Oranges that you have cut in half after partially zesting. Then add zest to taste to the rub.......
This is one of those "brings back memories" group of aromas and tastes for me.
