Thought I had grabbed some wings for today's lunch. Turns out I was only half right. Oh well dummies for lunch then.
Seasoned with some Goya, seasoned salt, and baking powder. Left out on a rack to help moisture drain off. Set the Davy Crockett to 325.
Let them cook for around 1/2 hour. Pulled and upped grill to 450.
Tossed with a mixture of Frank's and Stubbs Hickory Bourbon.
Back on the grill for 10 minutes a side.
Served on fine china with some Bob's Big Boy and some zesty dill slices.
I would also like to give a shout out to Green Mountain Grills for standing behind their product and responsive customer service. I went to turn on the DC last Sunday and heard a snap crackle pop followed by smoke. The AC/DC adapter had shorted out. I immediately grabbed a battery in hopes the controller had not been affected. Plugged it in and the rest of the cook came off without problem. I got around to calling GMG on Tuesday to see if this was covered under warranty. Recieved a new adapter yesterday free of charge and used it for today's cook.
