Cold smoked with 1 Amazn grenade worth with hickory pellets.
No heat from the smoker.
Mixed up a simple pickle brine but added some turmeric. Over fill each jar, i added 1 star anise into 2 of the jars. Seal and hot water finish for 10 mins.
Set aside to cool. The recipe says fridge and good for a month but i have had some (unopened) for as long as 2 months.
