just me and my kettle
« Reply #-1 on: August 04, 2013, 09:19:13 PM »
been awhile since I posted any pics.  been busy and sometimes is just nice to cook and drink and not take pictures.  i'm up at the cabin priming and painting the outside of it.  I asked my wife, "why don't we just pay someone to paint it?"  wrong.  her response was, just stay up at the cabin for a couple of weeks and paint the house since your not working now.  and the house needs it.  "crap".  i so hate it when she's right.  fine, but i'm going fishing every morning.  I get the kiss on the cheek and the "yes dear, you can go fishing in the mornings".  so a little food for me since i'm up here all by myself (nice and quiet).

stuffed chicken breast, mushrooms w/ wine, poppers and corn.

good stuff maynard.   :D

YO Sparky, if you are going to make food like that, I'll bring some beverages, a pole, and a paint brush. I could be there by Tues.
Nice spread my friend!

A couple of weeks at the lake by yourself, fishing every day, cooking on the kettle? I think I could put up with a little painting to do that.
