Yeah, I heard their commercial for the McRib on the way in to work. Not sure exactly how it went, but they were suggesting that barbecue has been unavailable since the McRib was gone. I almost threw up.

There's a place around the corner from me that I went to for the first time yesterday.  Ugh.

Here's what I wrote about the place:

Hated it (1 star)
Pricing: Pricing is too high for the quantity of food given. I purchased the Brisket combo (smaller, not Jumbo), and I can't justify paying that much money for such a small amount of food. I got a brisket sandwich (wasn't piled high), a few corn fritters, and a pickle, along with a drink.

Quality of Food: I asked a few questions of the staff (who were friendly). They stated that they smoke their meat with hickory wood, but when I opened the box, the brisket was unappealing. The color was off and the meat was very dry. It had a light hickory smoke taste to it, but no smoke ring which is indicative of smoked meat. It tasted more as if it had been oven smoked, not smoked in an industrial smoker with the correct amount of wood. The corn fritters were delicious, however I would have liked to have more in the box.

Cleanliness of Restaurant: The restaurant was very clean, but there was hardly anyone in the place for lunch, which I should have found odd.

Overall, I have to give it a one star because of the price and taste of the food.

The first photo is what their website says the food should look like.
The 2nd photo is a picture of MY brisket.
The 3rd photo is a picture of what I paid 11 bucks for.
