Those are all very nice thoughts.

I am thankful for my family and children.

I am thankful that for the first time in five years I can walk like a normal person and not have any pain.

I am thankful that I can still remember when.

I should be thankful for all my doctors.  With 9 surgery's over the last 7 years I'd be in a heck of a place without them ??? ??? ???

Nice thread and post Smoke!   :)

I'm thankful for my family including our newest addition,
my friends, old and new, of which all of you folks are a part of,
my health, and all the things that make me happy.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Oh one more thing, judging from that last picture of Smoochy, I know what he's thankful for!   ;)

All in my home are so happy little Jack did well today and that the Scally family will have peace and their happy boy back to normal real soon!

My list is too long….

That is not a cop - out. It is a fact. If today were my last on this earth - I could go knowing that I have scorched the wings of guardian angels - diving into the River Styx - to save my sorry butt. ;D. More than once I am afraid.
I really did not plan so far in advance. Never knew I would be around this long. But - I have been rewarded  - most undeservedly- with the finest family and friends any man could dream of. Not being morbid here - just reflecting on, and expressing gratitude for a very full life, rich in manner of accounting odd to some, and understood by others. "Waxing my elephant"…. ;D

YOU as members of this forum, have become part of my extended family.

I am most thankful for my kids and wife, who for some reason think I am awesome. I am thankful to be employed and to have a roof over my head. I am not worthy of any of it, so for that I thank God.

Oh, and I really love you people. Been a great addition to my life.  I guess that means I am most thankful for Tee ;D

You give me way too much credit.

I built a playground. And, even if it was the "best" playground - it would be worthless if no one wanted to use it. Nothing like the laughter, and good times of a playground that is well used…

So…yeah - I am calling you all a bunch of kids…And - I am perfectly comfortable being Walter Matthau ( Grumpy Old Men reference…)  feining a stern composure - but, laughing inwardly all of the time. ;D

I identify more with the Burgess Meredith character. ;D
Drinks, unfiltered smokes, and daily bacon, and chases women. And lives to 90...... Great character!
