Pictures of my little buddy...
« Reply #-1 on: December 02, 2013, 09:09:08 PM »
Here is a pic of our little weiner dog.... the count currently is Car 1- Oscar $325.00! My Daughter let him out to do his bidness last night and he decided to go roam the neighborhood. My Parents live just 3 houses down and across the street. When he realizes he is getting close to Granny and Grandpas he likes to take off. My Dad came out to get their mail and Oscar took off running back across the street. I think the car barely buzzed him. He got extremely luck.... broken right tibia (requires a splint for 6-8 weeks), a broken fibia on his left leg (requiring no splint) and some stitches. Being a weiner, last night my biggest worry was that he had gotten his back or hips hurt. This more than likely would have meant putting him down. We'll see what happens at the end of the 6-8 weeks. Vet was pretty optimistic that if we can keep him calm and let the leg heal; he should be good as new. Glad that his guardian puppy was with him last night.

I'm so sorry and I don't know what to say but I have already said a prayer for him and your family.

Hopefully all will heal well and he'll be good as new. Man those critters sure do have a way of integrating themselves into our  hearts and lives don't they?

My best wishes and prayers sent your way, brother!

Sorry about your buddy. That's why I am glad my back yard is fenced in. My little cock a poo will stay with me unless he sees a critter and then he is gone. Don

Our backyard is fenced...but they have trained him that when he comes in from there, after extended staying out, he is to run to the front door and go back outside to do his business, so he can come back in.
