Howdy. I'm in Atlanta, and have been smoking meats for about a month, since getting a new Traeger Lil Tex Elite pellet smoker. I'm learning a lot about smoking meats, and so far have gotten good at brisket, ribs and pork butts. I'm loving being a barbecue student, it's pretty delicious.

great to have you here jdominy! And...We are ALL students of BBQ. That is one of the beauties of this love of cooking. The learning never has to stop. All it takes is an open mind, and lot's of crazy people to influence you. :D Looks like you found home! ;D
