I know y'all think I can only cook ribs.  Me, my kettle and SnS have a good relationship.  I have never made lollipop chicken before so I thought I would give it a try.  Preparing the legs was hard for me.  You will  notice that the real nice ones my daughter did.  The one that look like a serial killer did are mine.  It's hard.

Fired up the 26.

Getting some good color.

My wife likes bull eye sauce. So bulls eye, orange juice and honey mixed together.

Once internal temp hit 175° I dipped each one once then twice.

It turned out ok.  Next time I will foil the potatoes from the beginning because too much smoke taste on them.  Cook lollipops at a lower temp and leave myself more time.  I think they would have been better.  A lot of work.  Ya there pretty.  It's chicken, how pretty does bbq'd chicken have to be.  I did like how they stood straight up and the bacon flavor on them.  That was cool.  This is my second plate.

I'm cooking more chicken now to make chicken salad for dinner now.

Looks good, Gus!!  You'll have to get your daughter started earlier next time in prepping the "pops".  I like your additions to the off the shelf bbq sauce.  Bet that was tasty.

A very worthy first effort!  Just remember, adding bacon to anything obliterates any mistake you make  ;D
