So...What struck each of you most about that clip?

For me...it was this: None of us are perfect, and we all have something about us that is broken, or a part that is "missing". Something we believe holds us back from fulfilling our real potential.
Kids - on their own, and before we adults "teach" them otherwise by demonstrating our own fear of failure -  have No prejudices. No fear. No understanding that they can't do anything. It is usually the transference of the concept of fear of failure from an adult that abrogates that perfect belief of the child that they can do ANYTHING.

So, without wasting time figuring out who is to blame in our lives for any given situation - or lack of personal fulfillment ...perhaps the biggest lesson to be learned from this video - BELIEVE that you can do anything you commit to. Forget whatever prior influences that have told you that you could not/should not be able to...?  And you will surprise yourself just how far the belief  that you CAN will carry you beyond "talent"  or "education", or "experience" ;) :)
If you believe you CAN or that you CANNOT...in either case - you are right..... ;) So why not believe in CAN.

I showed the video to my daughter and she is 6 years old. She started to cry when she saw his arm. I told her "Don't cry sweetheart. Does he look sad?" She said no. Then I explained to her that even though he is missing his arm he is still capable of doing something extraordinary with one arm that people have difficulty doing with two.
