Greetings from near DC
« Reply #-1 on: January 29, 2021, 07:10:25 PM »
Hello.  I'm more of a cook than a real chef. I do the usual guy stuff on a grill (steaks, burgers brats..) And do turkey on the grill for Thanksgiving (9 years running)  I also have a CharBroil Big Easy Electric Smoker Roaster. I use it for pulled pork, pastrami, chicken, and smoked brats.

I'm looking to up my game.

Welcome!
Glad you found us. By no means are we the biggest forum. But I can promise you we are the most friendly, no flame-wars place. Everyone here treats one another like real friends - and there have been real friendships come from LTBBQ. So - dig in, feel comfortable and ask or contribute. All questions are valued and valid.

Where in the "near DC" area are you from?  I spent quite a few years in Northern Virginia before retiring from the Fairfax County Public School System..  Moved to Morganton, NC.  Love this forum.  Great people.  Before the Covid-19 business, we used to have get Forum member get togethers several times a year.  Always lots of fun.
Welcome aboard!!

WELCOME from St Louis

I have learned more on this GREAT FORUM than anywhere.
I got my start with the gas Big Easy for turkeys, then moved to the SRG where I do almost all my cooks and have a Big Easy Electric for all of my smoking.
