50th butt with INFRARED cookers!!!!!
« Reply #-1 on: June 17, 2012, 09:56:08 PM »
Saturday was sorta a big day for me, I was asked to cook more pulled pork for my church so I said yes!   Now I didn't think about it till I pulled the pork apart last night but I did my 50th butt with infrared cookers!  That's SRG's, BEESR's and my home made DCBE!
Here is the SRG's, BEESR and DCBE in action plus I had the Grill2Go cooking corn!

Here is just one of the six butts I cooked

Here is the DCBE inaction as well

Here is 45-46-47 & 48 vacuumed sealed

AND now 49 and 50th

There are a lot of jokes in that ...And I am gonna leave 'em right where they are ;)! But it looks like you had fun. And the food looks awesome!

50 butts is a lot, considering when I first started to use TBE I had never cooked a butt with infrared before.

Yep!   They work very well Pam.   Now remember I only run the SRG's on low so the heat is not real bad on them.

I will tell you, if the frog mat touches the side it ain't good but other than that I give them a 10 for performance.
