Wings tonight on TBE
« Reply #-1 on: August 14, 2014, 07:28:12 PM »
Did some wings on TBE and a little lumpia as an appetizer. They were seasoned with crushed red peppers, garlic powder, and paprika for color. No sauce on them tonight just the season.  Daughter and BF stopped by and everything lasted about 30 seconds  ;D

Hey Rad
Do you have a recipe for those lumpia? They look really good. Looks like you can make them ahead of time a freeze them for when you want them. Never made them but I just might.

Your wings look fantastic.  Tell me more about the lumpia.  The last time I had lumpia was while I was in the Navy stationed in Hawaii, around the 1972/1973 time frame.  As I recall, it was really good.

Thanks everyone. As for the lumpia, I buy them by the 100 and keep them frozen until I want some. This was the last of batch. Being close to the Navy base we have a Filipino community, so getting them is easy for me. I really like doing them in TBE instead of using oil.
