1 hr and 45 min smoked yardbird in the SRG
« Reply #-1 on: October 07, 2012, 12:19:30 AM »
I had craving for yardbird with Instant Gourmet. I melted 1 and a half sticks of butter to 2 Tbs of Instant Gourmet.
I injected it and brushed it before setting it in the SRG for a long low and slow smoke.

Next I got the smoke rolling in the SRG and set the yardbird in for a long nap  ;)

After 1 hr and 40+ min's this is what I found

MAn talk about a good yardbird!!!

That bird looks great! Never seen the Instant Gourmet around here, only hear about it from the memeber when they use it.
