I have been thinking about these ribs for awhile. Now i have to try them. Did you cook them any different than the way you normally do ribs?

Not at all, cooked them the exact same way as I would my normal bbq ribs. I did brush some extra sauce on near the end to let it caramelize and a little more once the ribs were off

Worked in the Orient for 11 years never had nor seen those.
Going to make "Chinese Spare Ribs" upon our return the Wisconsin and the Black Hills.

Have had A LOT of ribs since i got my PBC. Was actually getting a bit tired of them. But think i need to try these.
Haven't cooked spares yet, how long did they take?

Usually depending on how meaty they are I've had them done in various times. As early as 2.5 hours and as long as 4. I usually go by the pullback on the bones. I will only do spares, IMO much better flavor than baby backs and more meat.
