Got a day off so I went to the charcoal cooker to see what it would do on a cold, windy day.
Seasoned up the bird with some fajita seasoning and injected with some butter and Head Country Championship seasoning :o

Decided to put it on a beer can chicken stand that I got about 1 year ago and have never used.

Very Nice. That chicken looks great and not oversmoked at all!!

Haven't done a whole bird in my PBC yet, thanks for inspiring me.

I've never had a whole bird literally fall Apart when I tried to cut into it. It was more like pulled chicken. SUPER MOIST!!!

Good looking cook Mike. Did the wind affect the cooking time?

My PBC arrived yesterday, less than two hours before we left for our Christmas holiday. I did get to unpack it and look at it. Can't wait to cook on it. I am thinking about starting with some "wangs". Although that beer can chicken looks mighty tempting. It will be chicken, that much I know. Everyone who has done chicken on theirs has turned out a fabulous feast for the eyes. You can almost taste them.
Really nice job on the chicken, Mike.

Nope. 2 hours. Well I guess, yes cause last time it only took 1.5 hours.
Also last time I halfed the bird.
